Creativity
To develop manual skills, creativity and an appreciation of the arts, children are able to express themselves creatively through drawing, painting, dramatic play, building, modeling etc. We encourage children to feel they are part of our „family „ yet to work at their own pace and pursue the things they like to do most. We pay special attention to developing a child’s self-esteem through a sense of security and predictability in their day.
As the computer and Internet related technology dominate our lives in the 21st century we believe it is vital for children to accept the computer as a natural part of everyday life. Using age appropriate software, our aim is to familiarise the child with basic use of the computer. Carefully selected software provides the opportunitites for them to improve their language skills as well as learn things such as shapes, numbers, colours etc.
Another most important aim is to develop each child’s love and appreciation of nature and their surroundings – to find harmony and understanding of nature with the human being. A concept of the vital role of nature in everyday life, and its preservation, cleanliness and appreciation should begin at this early age. Kindergarten offers the child an introduction to this appreciation that should remain with the child during his/her lifetime.
